It’s been a tough week for many people in the Washington Heights neighborhood of Manhattan and for others who rely on New York City’s #1 subway to get to work, school and around the City since part of the 181st station’s roof collapsed over the train tracks closing the station for more than a week. As of this morning, train service has been restored to all other stations along the line except for the 181st station. Juan Pablo Heins reports on the impact on this Hispanic (mostly Dominican) neighborhood.
