Hispanic Scholarship Fund – 2009 Hall of Fame Gala
The Hispanic Scholarship Fund’s (HSF) Alumni Hall of Fame Gala was held tonight here in NYC. It was a great evening with incredible inductees who all had moving and heart warming stories of how they go to where they are today.
The biggest announcement of the night came from Edgar Sandoval of Procter & Gamble who announced his company will donate 1.5 million dollars to the fund! THANK YOU P&G!!!
Tonight’s gala recognized the following individuals and inducted them into the HSF Hall of Fame:
Carmen Baez, President DAS Latin America, Omnicom Group
Adam Aponte, M.D., Medical Director, Brownsville Multi-Service Family Health Center
Edgar Figueroa, Executive Director, The Wi-FI Alliance
Sandra Hernandez, M.D., Chief Executive Office, The San Francisco Foundation
Edgar Sandoval, General Manager, North American Marketing, Proctor & Gamble
