Where would Latinos be without YouTube? How could we keep up withTelenovelas from our home countries? Share videos of our crazy Dominican mom’s screaming. Well, it would definitely be a different world.
On February 14, 2005 the domain name www.youtube.com was registered and this month YouTube is celebrating 5 years! In October 2009, the site passed 1 billion page views a day and in November announced a partnership with Univision that allowed consumers to watch their favorites Univision shows on YouTube. This month,YouTube announced they have exceeded 2 Billion views a day.
