Video: Subway riders in NYC’s Washington Heights stuck in elevator
A YouTube video posted today features an elevator full of people who were stuck Friday night while going up the elevator at the 18st 1 train station, one of the deepest in the system. The station is located in the heart of the Washington Heights neighborhood, a primarily Dominican section in Northern Manhattan. Recent videos in the last few months about the NYC subway system have included rats jumping on passengers in the cars and the spaghetti fight between three women.
Dos Lives was at the same station in 2009 when part of the ceiling collapsed. Our video coverage of that incident is below the fold.
