A McD
onald’s cashier is under arrest for allegedly beating two female customers with a metal rod, just after midnight Thursday night, when they jumped the counter during an argument and threatened him, according to 7online.com.
The entire incident in the Greenwich Village restaurant was caught on cell phone camera and shows two women, Denise Darbeau, 24, of Queens, and Rachel Edwards, 24 of Brooklyn arguing with cashier, Ryan McIntosh, 31, of the Bronx, over the authenticity of their $50 bill, DNAInfo.com reported.
After one of the woman jumps over the counter, McIntosh retreats and returns with a metal pipe and begins to beat both women amid cries from co-workers and others to stop the beating, as seen on the YouTube video.
McIntosh was arrest and charged with assault and is being held on $40,000 bail. He served more than a decade in prison after shooting and killing a high school classmate in 2000, according to CBSNewYork.com.
McIntosh was convicted of shooting and killing Oshan Litchmore, 17, a classmate at Bronx’s Evander Childs High School in 2000, when he was only 19 years old, DNAInfo reported. The two teens were outside Macy’s at the Galleria Mall in Westchester when they got into an argument. The fatal bullet passed through Litchmore and hit an 8-year-old passerby in the leg.
Both women were arrested and charged with menacing, criminal trespass and disorderly conduct, police told the Daily News. Both were hospitalized, one with a cracked skull and broken arm. The other had a cut.
