3 Construction Workers Pulled from Rubble of Brooklyn Building Collapse

Firefighters rescued three construction workers caught in a building collapse in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn that occurred around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The collapse occurred at 2929 Brighton 5th Street and the the building owner told ABC7 that the building was under construction.

Three of four stories collapsed in the building and the rescue operation took place on top of the first floor. Firefighters originally though there may be

a fourth person, but after a search determined that there were only three construction workers.

Multiple units responded including Emergency Services Unit, Collapse Response Unit, and K-9.
