Univision Launches Revamped Univision.com Homepage
Univision has been working on the redesign for a year and is part of an effort to rebuild and enhance the company’s entire network of national and local online and mobile sites.
“Our efforts to continuously improve our products reflect our commitment to deliver the most relevant and compelling content and services to U.S. Hispanics on a daily basis, both online and on mobile.,” Kevin Conroy, president of Univision Interactive Media and Enterprise Development said in a statement. “Today, this important audience influences the digital landscape like never before and the launch of this new homepage will further strengthen our leadership position among U.S. Hispanics in the interactive space.”
The updated sites will also allow provide additional opportunities for advertisers with fully integrated promotions across many of Univision’s online properties.
Key features of the Univision.com homepage include:
•Seamless registration and improved navigation and search experiences;
•Access to more video including novelas, sports and news;
•Geo-targeted information and news from local city or country of origin;
•Redesigned mobile site features search capabilities and video.
Univision.com’s online and mobile offerings generated 412 million visits with over 3.2 billion page impressions in the U.S./PR so far this year, according to Univision. The company also reported today that the vast majority of users do not visit other Spanish-language sites and 55 percent of them have not visited the closest Spanish-language competitor in the last 30 days.
