Slideshow: Top Ten Worst New York City Elevators and Companies Responsible for Them

The New York City Department of Buildings has a Top Ten list that no building owner would want to be on. The top ten worst elevators in New York City. Take a look at the pictures, maps and the deadbeat companies who are responsible for each building.

The list was last updated July 25, 2011 and the Buildings Department uses “complaint data, violations, maintenance filings, and field inspection records,” to identify the top ten offenders who will be pursued under the Elevator Enforcement Program.

Maps and Pictures are from Google.
