The Hispanic Professionals Networking Group (HPNG) will host its first event of 2012 tonight with special guest HBO’s Ms. Lucinda Martinez, Vice President, Domestic Network Distribution & Multicultural Marketing.

Jon Byington (@jonbyington) sat down with HPNG’s President, Ali Curi @HPNG, to talk about this week’s event and the upcoming year for HPNG. Curi explains how HPNG has events designed for both corporate audiences and entrepreneurs.

“You walk away with information and inspiration,” Ali said in this week’s DL Podcast. “It’s not just about showing up and having a few drinks.”

The flagship HPNG Latino Leadership Conference will take place June 12, 2012 and there is an addition this year to the annual event, the first-ever HPGN Latino Leader Awards which is presented by Ford Motor Company.
