El Barrio Firehouse Community Media Center To Open in 2012

Exciting news for everyone in upper Manhattan and especially if you like around Harlem’s East 104th street. The new home of Manhattan Neighborhood Network, Manhattan’s Public Access TV Station, will open this year.

SLIDESHOW: SEE El BARRIO!

The new home of MNN isn’t in any building, but in a historic East Harlem firehouse. The five-story firehouse media center, according to their website, will include:

  • Three Live Broadcast & Production Studios
  • A Large Multi-Purpose Meeting, Exhibition & Performance Space
  • Editing, Camera and Studio Facilities
  • Broadband Access and Training
