An employee making salsa with her/his bare hands is only one of many violations that shut down Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club just a day after a celebrity-filled launch party, the New York Post reported.

“If you have a walk-in place with food like this, you put a hell of a lot of people at risk,” a health department source told the New York post. “A night of dinner and dancing should not include the risk of contracting food-borne illness.”

City health inspectors found the refrigerator, which was full of meat, was at 60 degrees instead of 41 and food sitting out was not being kept at high enough temperatures.

The club corrected the problems and reopened Friday night.

So, who wants to go try some bare-handed salsa at 40/40?
