‘The Class’ NYC Hip Hop Workshop this Thursday
‘The Class,’ a NYC dance team, is hosting a Hip Hop workshop Thursday night in Manhattan with professional choreographers Xonik and Frost. The fee is ONLY $10 and you can check out all the details at the bottom of this post.
Dos Lives spoke with team manager Victor Dessis about his classes:
Q: Why did you start the program?
A: The reason why I started this program is because of my community. There are a lot of talented individuals who seek guidance and with my experience and background I decided to put a team together in order to give back.
Q: What does dance mean to you?
A:To me dance gives me the opportunity to express myself.
Q: Who attends your classes?
A: Our team is very diverse and our doors are open to anyone. All ages are allowed.
Q: What other classes do you offer? How much do they cost?
A: As of right now I am starting with hip hop and salsa and in time I will expand it to contemporary, Waacking, Funk, Ballet, and many more. On average a lot of dance companies tend to charge around $30 – $40 but we are only charging $10.
If Hip Hop’s not your thing, the next workshop offered will be Salsa.
