Bar Chevere Lower East Side 222x300 Bar Chevere Opens on the Lower East SideSome of the Dos Lives team got an exclusive sneak peek of the newest addition to the Lower East Side bar scene, Bar Chevere, on Wednesday. We were plied with some great wine and tapas, and knew we needed to pass on this new hidden gem of a wine bar.

Bar Chevere boasts an amazing selection of boutique wines that will be subject to change with the owners’ whim. The wine serves as inspiration for a delicious menu of Mediterranean-inspired treats. Come for the fancy wine selection, stay for the gourmet cheeses, and don’t forget about brunch, the chocolate pairings and free wine tasting (where you have a say in the wines chosen for the new menu)! Bar Chevere definitely lives up to its name.
