NYC Crane Dangling as Hurricane Sandy Approaches
UPDATE 6:11 p.m. Police are evacuating about 900 guests from Le Parker Meriden out of fears the crane will fall, sources told The Post.
New York City officials have told people in the area of 7th avenue and 57th street to move to lower levels in their building or evacuate the area because of a partial crane collapse.

The crane located at One57, also known as Carnegie 57, is a 90-story luxury condo currently under-construction at 157 West 57th Street in the Midtown neighborhood of Manhattan. NYPD and NYFD have closed the area and are investigating. Condos on the top floor are reportedly selling for 85 million, according to WABC.
