O’ Say Can you Sync?

O’ Say Can you Sync?

| On 22, Jan 2013

Beyoncé lip-synched Monday’s performance of “The Star Spangled Banner” at the inauguration, Page Six has confirmed. It was a last-minute decision according to a United States Marine Band member.

“All music is pre-recorded for the ceremony because there are so many eventualities and conditions that day,” Kristin DuBois, a rep for the band tells Page Six. “We performed, live, the band. But we received last-minute word that Beyonce was going to use the pre-recorded vocal track. Those were the instructions we were given. We don’t know what the reason why.”

ANDERSON COOPER had this to say about the incident:

“I respond with a big star-spangled so what?” Cooper said. “As far as I’m concerned, it is Beyoncé’s world and we are just living in it.”

“I’m releasing a statement right now saying I just don’t care. We got to look at Beyoncé’s beautiful face and hear Beyoncé’s beautiful voice singing the national anthem. There is only one thing we should say today and that is thank you, Beyoncé. Francis Scott Key himself would send her a fruit basket.”

What did people expect? It’s not like Whitney Houston was performing. I think she did what was expected of her. Beyonce is simply all looks. If she was actually singing from her heart and soul her facial expression would have reflected just that. Everything about her is fake, so why should she be real now?
