Ricky Martin Melts Hearts on the Cover of GQ Australia

Ricky Martin is red hot on next month’s cover of GQ Australia.
The Puerto Rican native opens up on his insecurities and turning that into power. The 41-year-old has come a long way from his Menudo singing, telenovela starring ways. Martin is a persona all his own, and let GQ into a day in the life of a sex symbol.
He discusses wanting to contribute to the new generation that just may be looking up to him, “I look at them and see myself as a kid. There’s so much fear, anxiety and insecurity. When you’re younger, if someone says you can do something better or improve something, you automatically take it personally. Straightaway, you go, ‘am I not good enough?’ Doubts and fears constantly plague you.”
Martin is aware that although he has been in the biz for nearly 30 years he is still a hot commodity. He became a unsurprisingly likeable judge on The Voice Australia. This has rekindled his love of performing and will begin a new tour in October. Since coming out in 2010 Martin has received widespread support from the LGBT Community as well as a group on new emerging fans.
