Judge Judy Helps Naturalize 149 U.S. Citizens in Brooklyn

Judge Judy took a break from handing down small claims court settlements and helped naturalize 149 U.S. citizens in Brooklyn Federal Court on Friday.
Sheindlin said her grandparents were well-educated professionals who came to America from the Ukraine, but she did not know much about their immigrant experience.

“I don’t think they personally experienced pogroms but knew enough to take their families … at the right time to get out of Dodge,” according to the Daily News.
Sheindlin posed for one photo with Mexican immigrant Lupe Delgado before dashing off without speaking to reporters.
