Spaniards Likes Wheel of Fortune, Too!

Wheel of Fortune isn’t only popular in the U.S.The Spanish version of Wheel of Fortune will continue to stay on the air another four years until 2017 in Spain as part of a new deal between Atresmedia Television and CBS Studios International.
“La Ruleta de la Suerte” has been a ratings success, with the current season averaging an 18.3 percent share in its midday slot.
“Despite being almost 40 years old, Wheel of Fortune continues to be a popular and successful format in the U.S. and internationally,” said Paul Gilbert, senior VP of international formats at CBS Studios International.
The Spanish version of the veteran game show first aired from 1990 to 1992, and then returned in 2006. Since then, 2,000 shows have aired.Tell us what you think in the comments below or on:
